Celebrating nurses everyday but especially this week! Happy National Nurses Week

5/6/2021 - Nurses are some of the most appreciated, yet under recognized groups of healthcare clinicians. Without a doubt, nurses are indispensable in safeguarding public health. They are always there at the bedside, in the OR, receiving patients in the ER, assessing, triaging, full of compassion and dedicated. It is expected that a nurse will be available to serve and support and sometimes without a thank you, gratitude, or a smile. This past year especially, nurses put themselves on the battlefield to fight a virus that could debilitate them. Despite this, they followed their pledge. Nurses marched right in to serve, risking their own lives to help others.

Thank you to all of the nurses that I have come to know as friends, colleagues, and to those I will meet in the future. We are the best and I applaud you.
